About Melinda

I have two sons
Brad,24 and Chris,23.
We live in Georgia.I was born here.

I have found that the saying that when one door closes another opens is true.
I know that the Lord is taking care of me.
He blesses me each and every day.
I no longer work at Walmart. I have gone back to a job that I love doing.
I work at a christian outdoor education camp.
I work in the kitchen. I know it is no where near as "glamorous" as what I did at Walmart.
But I get to work with wonderful people and be a part of teaching children what outdoor life is all about. I hope to be at this place for as long as the Lord tells me I need to be there.
I also work at a convience store on the nights I don't work at the camp.
Well that brings you up to speed on what has been happening with me over the last few months.
I will continue to add more to this as time goes along.
Thank you to those who have continued to keep me in their prayers.

Neither one of my sons are married.
So I am not a grandmother yet.
Maybe one day.
The Boy's say not anytime soon.

The growing question is what was my relationship to Cal.
Cal was my mentor,teaching me how to build a website.
Yes! My website was his way of teaching me how to do this.
Unfortunately I could not afford to keep it going,and had to close it down.
He continued to teach me whenever we had some free time.

Cal was my stepdad for a short time.
He and my Mom were married for a couple of years.
They remained friends until she died in 2004.

Cal was most of all my friend.
He was there for me through Mom's fight with breast cancer and then her passing.
I guess we just clicked.
