[1] You have <noembed> ... </noembed> preceding your body tag in your sig and have used an <img> tag.
Solution: Remove the noembed tags.
[2] You're typing your post in <html>
Solution: You need to add a body bgcolor.
[3] The body close and html close are in the wrong place
Solution: </body and </html> should be the last two tags which is the proper syntax even before the "server side upgrade" was forced upon us.
[4] You used a body tag without adding a bgcolor. For instance <body>.
Solution: add the <body bgcolor="?">.
The above information was found in various news groups but primary testing was done by WarpSpeed, Naji Melton and yours truly.
If you wish to use a different text color other than what is in your signature box then you need to use something like the below:

The above is the same body tag that's in my signature box. Then when you want to change the text color use <font color="#xxxxxx">your words go here and close the font </font>
Then the text color goes back to what you started with which is the default text color.[see below]
If you remove your signature and want to use a font color of white then you have to use the default email bgcolor or you'll have the white box if you use HTML and post in a news group. Here is what you put in your message area and either of the below will work but only use one or the other:

<body bgcolor="#16181e" text="#7db392"> NG
The above are default email and news group colors.

Then you're good to go and BTW remember to close the codes backwards aka in reverse order of their usage:

The server side upgrade has also played havoc with some Hewlett Packard 400 and 600 series printers if you have the summer 2000 as well. I took the retro grade and now my printer works perfectly.
