Check baud rate, cookies and clear cookies
A cookie is like a crumb that you leave when you go from one site to another which is a way the browser remembers where you have been and commonly called: browser recognition.
If you clear or delete your cookies the ONLY thing that happens is the sites that required you to log-in and use a password will require you to use both your log-in and password all over again ergo you now left a crumb (another one all over again). Nothing is lost, moved or deleted from any where such as: favorites, messages or wherever. The users addy that deleted their cookies is the only one of six that is effected.
I used to, past tense before I knew better circa 1998, delete my cookies once a week just like clock work. There are about 10-12 places I go that want a password etc., etc., etc. all over again. I only use three different passwords and the rest is a piece of cake ref: login name. WebTV enables each users cookies every time their LBB is turned on ergo if you go to a site that says "enable your cookies" then simply power off, wait approximately 30 seconds then power back on.
I presume you have a password and log in name easy to remember system? If not, then write (actually type) that information down in an e-mail message and right before you would send the message print the page then send to yourself with signature removed and
when received save it and of course put the word passwords in the subject line.
Some have said the deletion of cookies would improve your surfing speed and many other things including the common cough which I seriously doubt but I can neither confirm or deny that and this article will offer further information although I have found that deleting cookies does not and I say again does not change or enhance speed, click here, as MSNTV likes to claim ergo deleting of cookies to enhance speed is totally bogus.
