Why "Wolf Dog Circle"? This name comes from the sweat lodge I ran for several years and hope to renew. The name itself refers to a wonderful girl, Chinook. She was a wolf - shepherd - malamute mix. Ever so gentle and sensitive to all that was around her. She was very much a dog, but she had ways about her that spoke of the wolf blood that was in her. She left this world in 1997. I think she waits for me.
A little about me. Though mainly Anglo (Scot and English), I do honor the Seneca that comes down thru my maternal line. I have learned a lot as I have studied the Good Red Road and participated in some of the ceremonies of the various nations of Native Americans. I have studied shamanism and have had some amazing experiences applying those techniques. There are worlds around us that we can only begin to imagine. I also study the Tao, Buddhism, and other spiritual paths.
I am a registered pharmacist, graduated from the University of Michigan. I am also an herbalist. I have studied many alternative healing methods and philosophies beyond the allopathic (Western) medicine. I work in a small retail pharmacy in Utah. I live with my 5 dogs and 3 rabbits (ahh, the rabbits and the dogs are not together). I am working at this time to create a friendly habitat on my property for the wild critters.
