As I stroll along the seashore
With cool breeze upon my face
I ponder all the mysteries
Neath the waters that take place

Such fine beauty to behold
On the surface of the sea
But the brutal life beyond
Is what we do not see

A daily constant battle
For survival of the best
I don't want to think about
What happens to the rest

Much like life beyond the current
There's so much to beware
So many who are just plain mean
Those who do not care

They're not after survival
They just want to hurt
All that are within their reach
They seem to have no heart

But I know where to go
To calm the raging seas
Jesus walked upon it's waters
And He'll walk again for me

Like Peter I can't look down
I must keep my eyes on Him
So I too can walk the tides
And not have to sink or swim

Thank you and Praise you Jesus
For taking all my woes
And throwing them to the 4 winds
As you did my sins so long ago
Amen
