Love Is A Power
Love is a power
That can't be explained
It brightens my world
Lights up my terrain
It makes my heart sing
An illusive melody
It makes my spirit rise
To heights the eye can't see
It makes every day special
It makes every dream glow
It makes every hope blossom
Into a blooming fragrant rose
Life without love
Is no life at all
We all need someone
To keep us up when we fall
We all need a Savior
Who will die in our stead
We all need living water
We all need daily bread
Our destinations a dark place
Filled with anguish and hate
That's what we deserve
And without Jesus...that's our fate
But He was born to this world
So that He could die a horrid death
He said "Father forgive them"
As He drew His last breath
His blood was shed
Upon that tree
He died...He rose
So that we could be set free
He asks nothing in return
Just our devotion to Him
Our willingness to walk
Clear away from sin
Our willingness to have Him
Live in our heart
Our willingness to love Him
And to make a brand new start
After all He's done for us
Is that too much to ask?
I am willing to love Him
And in His love I bask
His love is a power
That can't be explained
He brightens my world
He lights up my terrain
Life without His love
Is no life at all
So open your heart
Answer His call
He's willing to forgive
All you've done wrong
He's willing to give you life
Forever long
He'll help you to stay
On the life path
All you need to do
Is ask
