His Yoke Is Easy Worries and fears are fruitless In our mind they tend to expand We build up a huge scenario That never works out as planned The actual event when it happens Is almost never as bad as it seemed While picturing it in our minds While living it in our dreams Jesus tells me His yoke is easy Cast all my cares onto Him And He will walk me through it I won't have to worry again If I trust that He's my Savior And can deliver me from hell I can surely trust Him with My earthly problems as well Life delivers some pretty low blows But when Jesus is on the scene We never need to worry If we truly trust in Him So now I try to not think About the dreadful woes ahead I have the best defense If I put Jesus at the head He will guide me and protect me From all that could possibly be He will hold my hand And light the way He will help my eyes to see That there's nothing to fear If Jesus is called If He's going to handle it No reason for me to fear at all Worries and fears are fruitless There's Power in the Power of prayer And once He hears our faithful call Jesus will surely be there Thank you and Praise you Jesus For caring so much for me For walking me through the shadows For setting my worries free Lord forgive me if I worry some more I'm human and tend to forget That nothing on this earth is too hard For you Mary Silva August, 2004 Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
