Trust in the Lord
And you will see
He will give you
His perfect peace


His peace he promises
Surpasses all understanding
Not the feeling of peace
Feelings won't stand


The peace that I get
When I trust in Him
Is knowing that He
Will be my strength


He'll hold me up
When I think I'll fall
He'll fill me with courage
When I want to let go




He'll walk me through
Any bad situation
He'll keep me safe
From the world I live in


As long as my focus
Is on HIS face
He'll shower me with mercy
He'll shower me with grace


I still feel the fear
I still feel the anxiety
But those are just feelings
Sent from the enemy


My peace comes from knowing
That Jesus won the victory
All I have to do
Is fall on my knees
And pray
