Heaven's Way
From the dawn of mankind
Till the eternal bell rings
God's heart will love
And the angels will sing
Whenever a soul
Walks the righteous path
Whenever a soul
Walks away from his past
Whenever a soul
Looks past the clouds
Into God's heart
Through His word
His word is a looking glass
His word reflects
All that's good
For a soul to have rest
Rest upon His promises
Rest upon HIs worth
Rest upon His Son
Who chose a lowly birth
A birth fraught with danger
A death fraught with pain
A resurrection of victory
Followed and then
He gave us the right
To be called children of God
He gave us the right
To come to His throne
He gave us the right
To live in His path
He gave us the right
To have peace at last
Not peace as the world knows
The peace that He gives
Is far more lasting
To those who are His
A security and a knowledge
That when all's said and done
The victory is ours
Through His only Son
We have all that He gives
To give away
So that others might find
The heavenly way
To life
