Clouded Vision
Through the painted sky
With it's hidden forms
Through the clouds we see
Whatever we want
Isn't life the same
As we stroll through the day
We pretty much control
What we do or say
We see things through our eyes
The way we want them seen
And we portray to others
What we feel they mean
When they don't agree
We get mad and we cry
"You're blind" we say
Then we begin to fight
Next on the agenda
Is a break in our ties
As we see things in clouds
We have clouds in our eyes
We don't see that friendship
Is more important than being right
We stand on our reasoning
We see through dim sight
God says to forgive
To not let the sun set
Until we've made up
So there's no regrets
Why must we be
So much in control
That we risk losing love
And we risk losing our soul
God's word is the best
The best advice we'll ever have
If we take heed
We'll never have to look back
There are no clouds in His vision
No wrong image in His sight
He tells us the way
He tells us what's right
Praise you Jesus!!
