Trust We have to praise the Lord For all he's done for us We don't understand His foresight and wisdom All we can do is trust We don't know the wars that rage Between God and the enemy We don't know what goes on behind the scenes All we know is what we see When the darkness falls upon us We need to look for the light We need to hold onto Jesus To get us through the night We need to know He's the Victor And that the battle's been won We need to know that God sent us His only Son To take away our sorrows To still our fears To lead us to Glory Land Where there'll be no more tears We need to praise Him through it all We need to know that He knows best We need to know that in His arms We can safely rest Yes, we have to be greatful and praise the Lord For all he's done for us We don't understand His wisdom We simply have to trust Mary Silva November, 2003
