If I were to have one wish come true It would be for a different me I'd wish to reflect my Lord for all the world to see I'd wish for strength and energy to do the best for Him I'd wish for the ease of will to never ever sin I'd wish for a great mind to soak up His word to store within my heart all I've ever read and heard I'd wish He was on the throne of every aspect of my life I'd wish to sit at His feet remaining always in His Light I'd wish for the ideal marriage to my one true love My blessed Savior Jesus Who came from up above He loves me just the way I am He wipes away my tears He calms my troubled heart He settles all my fears He tells me I am special because He died for me He shed His precious blood just so I could be set free He gave me life eternal He gave me a brand new heart He gave me a brand new day He gave me a brand new start He holds my future in His hands He will prepare the way so I can step in faith and simply follow day by day I'm not all the things I wish I could be I don't always reflect His love for all the world to see But my Father will say "My child - well done" only because I so love His Son Mary Silva
