Lord, I have so much to be thankful for Yet often I forget To not sit on that pity pot With the one thing that makes me fret If I leave it at your feet I should trust you'll see it through If I ask you to fix the problem I should know that's what you'll do I have so much to be thankful for So much you've done for me Yet when my life's in turmoil The past I can not see I see only what's in front of me The woe that's straight ahead I should just trust in you But I hop on the pity pot instead 
No more self pity for me I kick it out today Cause I believe in what my Father says He'll hear me when I pray His word is good enough God doesn't lie He said He'll be with me always Through you Lord Jesus, He'll teach me to fly Fly with wings Made from above Empowered by His redeeming love He accomplished it 2000 years ago It's a promise through all kinds of weather We'll get through all the storms You and I...together Thank you and Praise you Jesus!!
