You wait for your errant child, To come out of trials so bleak, Still loving you above all else, My home with you I seek. My treasures are there in heaven, My mansion stands tall, You, my loving Father, Have provided them all, I struggle through this darkness, but you give me what I need, With patience and love, You know my greed. I greed after you Lord, Though I cry and I wail, You lovingly forgive, When I fail. You've cleansed me with the blood, Of your precious Son, You've made me white as snow, The job is done.
