~ I'm In Your Hands Lord ~

LORD, don't let my heart be haughty,
nor mine eyes lofty:
What you provide
Is good enough for me

Neither let me exercise myself
in great matters,
nor in things too high,
I'm where You want me to be

Surely I have behaved
and quieted myself,
as a child that is weaned of his mother:
I've grown Lord...with Your help.

My soul [is] even as a weaned child.
Let Israel hope in the LORD
from henceforth and for ever
We walk forward

Forward in you Lord
Forward in your word
We've seen with our eyes the evil
Your word we've heard

My choice is to walk Lord
With head held high
To the Promised Land
Way above the sky

My love is with you Lord
My gratitude is forever
Only you can bring me forth
And loosen me from my tethers

I place my life in Your hands Lord
To do with me as you will
I pray for mercy Lord
That my plate you will fill

Fill with your love and wisdom
Fill with your might and strength
To win this earthly battle
To walk strong the whole length

From all of your children Israel
You'll never depart
All of your children Israel
Are those you've chosen
from the start

I'm humbled and so grateful
For your forever love for me
Lord help me to help the lost
To see what I see
Amen
