~ A Gift From God ~



Sometimes a very special person
steps into my life
One that I know God has sent
to ease the pain and strife


A friend and mentor
she was meant to be
a lighthouse in the storm
providing light with which to see


A vessel filled with kindness
a dear friend in times of woe
A bright reflection of Jesus
In her His love flows


And He gave her to me
as a gift forever more
to help me through the waves of the
storm
as I'm thrown from shore to shore


She helps me to walk on water
as Peter once did
By focusing my eyes on Jesus
By praying in the midst


She's a very special sister
Sent special delivery
By the merciful hand of God
Especially for me


I thank you and praise you Jesus
For all you've done
I thank you and praise you Jesus
Through you the victory's won
Amen and Praise you Jesus!!
