Did someone say horses ?!!
A COWBOY NEEDS A CANYON
A Cowboy, riding fence at dusk lead his horse to a canyon rim.
He peered into it's foggy depths blue and cold and dim
He there called out his given name; The echo sent it back.
He turned and mounted up again and rode back down the track
A cowboy lives a lonely life, His dog his only friend
But a dog will never speak a word, Though he`s loyal to the end.
Days and weeks with no one near, Just a horse and saddle pack,
And even the nightly coyote's howl, Sends shivers up his back.
So a cowboy needs a canyon, Where he can privately rejoice,
In the simple sound of his his given name, Spoken in a human voice.
