Reflections ...
Oh, what would you give for the long summer days,
just walk in the peace o'er Gleniffer Braes. The view from the top streches far and wide, you can watch the ships on their way down the Clyde.
The Kilpatrick's and the Campsies are clearly seen, the sight of Ben Lomond completes the scene, when you look down the valleys far below,
and see the factories we used to know.
They're so still and silent, no sign of smoke, the air is much cleaner, but it's no joke. When there is no work to go to it's a bleak outlook, you have no other option but to sign the book.
Can we look well head to the end of recession,
what a joy it will be to get rid of depression. Somewhere someday the sun will be shining, remember every cloud has a silver lining.
