Valentine

This has been adapted from a PsP tute linked at the bottom. Webbies, pay no attention to it. Follow these intructions.

NOTE - except for the bgcolor, the instructions are the same no matter which flower or image you choose. The mask is 500x350, so always start with that size bg.

If you want to make the valentine at the top of the page:

Make an xc 500x350, meta=#36410C

Comp mask overlay or softlight. Overlay gives the nicest luminence.

Comp the tulip (or your choice of flower image) center, over.

Add 2 small borders (2x2 or 3x3) in colors of your choice.

Resize to 200x143!

Output and save as a jpg.

Make another xc 500x350, meta=#36410C

Comp mask overlay or softlight. Note - use the same comp as you did for the first one.

Comp your small image in the NE corner - refer to the one at the top for placement. Comp again on the SE corner using the same co-ordinates.

Comp your flower in the center, moving it to the left or right as needed.

Annotate your name or verse. You can add a border if you like, and then resize if you want to use it in a sig.

Another Example

When deciding on a bgcolor for a different image, go toward the dark side for best results with the mask.
