You will need a gif with a transparent background. I used a fairy, but you can use any gif with a nice defined outline. You most likely have your own stash, but just in case here are some gifs to use:
For Cutouts <-- Lurkers -DO NOT post this index ANYWHERE! Post this page! Garden of Eve This is my original Once you've decided on the gif you want, go to a color grabber and choose a color you want to fill in your "cutout". Then go to Image Magic. Enter the url for your gif. On the next page, scroll down to the paint option. Enter a color you want for your background - different from the one you are going to use for the cutout.. I used black. Select COLOR and RESET from the 2 dropdown boxes. Click in the center of your image. You should have a blank colored square. Resize the blank using "double size". Go to composite. Composite your gif Northwest, using OVER. Go to transform - FLIP the image. Go to composite. Composite the gif Northeast, using DstOut. You need to play with the co-ordinates here, depending on the size of your gif. I used +20+145. On the next page, you will see a "cutout" area for your gif. Paint it, using replace, fuzz 9999, and the color you got from the color grabber. Flip the image right side up, trim and resize. Annotate your name, output as a jpg and save. Results at top of page!
