Sidedeco Designs

I have some examples listed at the bottom and these are all added to my Image/Card site so they are there for your pleasure and enjoyment to use on your emails, pages etc. ~Lee~
Step 1. I used a white background of 334x264 making it a little wider for additional image or dingbat to the left (approx. 80 to 100 more) I added 79. This happened to be a "gif" but you can use a jpg also. I composited my image +15+0 East. Go to Decorate and put in 8x8 border color is "none"
Step 2. We want to draw a double line to the left of the image. So you would go down 8 pixels from top and stop at 8 pixels from bottom. (the 8 is the border we put on) Go to Draw and Line and these are the numbers I used for this image: 87,8 87,272 Stroke color only #9c8c59 Stroke Width 2.
Once more draw another line 95,8 95,272. Now you can matte beteen those two lines.
Step 3. You can now fill in the border and between the lines with a background using Dstover and Misc.
Step 4. Now if you want to add a dingbat you would want to rotate it since most dingbats are shown in a horizontal position. For dingbat -- Transform - Rotate Right. With this particular one you see above I used the Font at I.M. - P C Ornaments and used the letters g and G (one is left and the other right) When you type that in, do one space between to leave a gap to fill in with another dingbat or leave it together and get the long dingbat touching. I used Point size of 70 North +0+20. For in between (flower) I used the 8 key and positioned it +0+25 North - Point size 55. I put the color in the Fill box. You can use a different stroke color if you want to get a different look. Transform and Rotate Left and you're done. Output - jpg - single file - scroll down and click on Truecolor - JPEG and Quality 35.
Here's the finished one. (350x280)
