Let's Make An Ornament

These ornaments are really very simple to make. Take a square of any color or a background design to Gifworks and use Sphere. Size of square depends on the size you want the ornament to be. Start out with 150x150 and see if that's satisfactory. You can always resize it.

I start out with it at Image Magick and I go to Decorate 10x10 Border None in color box. Reason I do this, I've found that if you don't, you get flat sides when you sphere it, so you want to keep the roundness of the globe.

Now go to Gifworks and use Sphere.

Save and take the url back to Image Magick. Composite globe on a clear background of 200x250 using +0+0 Center. Take the ornament topper and composite +0+9 North. For the cardinal, I composited it +0+0 Center. Now trim and output Gif - Single File

BTW, I made this topper using a small strip of a background and taking it to Gifworks use cylinder. Take it to I.M. and for the loop I used Annotate and the letter O
