Once again another project which I had so much fun with last year. I never made a tute for it till now and thought I'd share it with the web community.

I've done the toughest part in making the parts for the egg so the rest is rather simple to put together.

The two parts are in cornsilk so you can either color them with a solid color or use the fill in method (Atop - Misc) to put in a pretty background. So let's get started.

1. Take this template to Image Magick For printers convenience: http://www.wtv-zone.com/MsLee/TEMPLATES/halfeggtemp.gif

Find a background you want to fill it with or just color it in using the paint feature - color - put color in box and click on both top and bottom to color. Or - if you are using a background, go to Composite, put in the url of a background and then scroll to Atop and put a checkmark in Misc.

2. Now you wlll go to Draw to make the inside part of the egg and this is very simple to do since I figured the numbers out for you. Click on Ellipse and in the box put these numbers in: 51,75 50,22 0,360 In the fill color use a color that will be a shade darker to give it depth - then in the stroke box use this number for the trim #9C8C59. Now for the bottom half numbers change slightly. 51,122 50,22 0,360 Now your egg is complete.

Now find something to composite inside the egg - a flower - a bunny - and resize it to fit. I can't give you the dimensions for the second part of placing it (I have ?? there) start it North +0+?? wherever you see it looks right. That's it. See my page of eggs for some ideas.
