Let's Draw An Envelope
I made one of these envelopes a long time ago but never put it into a tutorial form and thought it would be an easy draw and fun too. You can put any animal etc. inside the envelope that is not too big. The one I've used was 100x124. There are some cute toppers that can be used also and just resize to approximately same size.
Step 1. Background in white of 300x325 I used honeydew for my envelope. Go to Draw and Path Put all these numbers in box and Fill of lightgray Stroke #9c8c59 and stroke of 2
M25,155 150,25 276,155 276,300 25,300 25,155
Step 2. Fill (your choice) Stroke #9c8c59 stroke 2
M27,166 150,40 274,166 274,290 27,290 27,166
Step 3. Composite dog-kittens gif (see url below) +0+20 Center use Over
Step 4. Fill (your choice) stroke #9c8c59 Stroke 1
M25,155 94,206 206,206 276,155 276,300 25,300 25,155 M94,206 25,300 M206,206 276,300
You can annotate your name using +0+110 Center-- Point Size 45 Rotate -15(minus 15) I used ARENSKi for font at Image Magick
One other way you can make the envelope is make a card and compositing it same way as an image but rotating it -15. Then continue to draw the bottom portion of the envelope (outside) of the envelope. Now for a bg to composite you have to matte out the solid color. Floodfill -- Matte and Fuzz 7777 for each section between the line drawing and composite a background using Dstover and Misc.To make the card I used a bg of a solid color of 150x170 then went to Annotate and did my writing of the card, using +0+10 North for Happy Birthday and then +0+40 North for the wording. For that size card use 18 point size for words. Choose a font in the I.M. box. I then went to Decorate and put in 7x7 None for color box and now use Dstover and Misc to comp in the same bg as your envelope. See sample below
