Draw An Ornament

In making this type of ornament we will be using "Draw" at Image Magick and "Circle" and "Bezier". It is a very simple one to draw. Only the third number gets changed in each drawing of the bezier lines.
You can matte out whatever areas you want to fill in with backgrounds or solid colors. I give a couple of examples I've done below. The first one I matted out the "I'll call them moon shapes" and left them clear so whatever background you use to display them on, that's what will show through. Looks good on a black background.
The second one I put in a background of pansies to fill the "moon shapes". When I fill in a clear background such as that one with the pansies etc. I use Dstover and Misc to fill. I've included a template for anyone that may not want to start from draw. I've left it with a background color so you can matte and fill wherever you would like to put colors. Let's get started.
Step 1. Using a 300x300 clear background, go to Image Magick and use Draw and Circle. Numbers are: 150,150 80,80 color of choice in "stroke" only and stroke of 2
Step 2. Up to Draw and Bezier - "left side"
#1: 150,50 10,150 150,250 (color and stroke same)
#2: 150,50 40,150 150,250
#3: 150,50 80,150 150,250
#4: 150,50 110,150 150,250
Notice only the "third number" changed in each line.
"right side:
#1: 150,50 190,150 150,250
#2: 150,50 220,150 150,250
#3: 150,50 260,150 150,250
#4: 150,50 290,150 150,250
At this point you can now use another color for the lines such as a background and use Atop and Misc under Composite - Center. I used #9c8c59 when I drew the lines but it wasn't shiny enough so I found a shiny gold background.
Once that is done while viewing your image made, put on a background color so you can continue to put other backgrounds in. So click on Replace and Color and put a color in the box and click on the background. It is now all colored in. At this point matte out sections you want to fill in. (remember I used Dstover and Misc to fill a background into clear spaces). Once this is complete, put a bow or just a top on ornament. Matte out background and go to Trim under Transform and check box for Reset Geometry. Output as a "gif" single file. I've listed below two examples and a template and a top for ornament.
