Making Cards With Words

NOTE: I've revised these instructions since I made it some time ago and by experimenting I find different ways of making it much easier. You can center words if there is enough room to the right of your image and the words will center themselves and can be written all out at one time instead of a line at a time. Put the words under each other as you see them on the sample. You would use: GRAVITY = Center LOCATION +0+0.

Now if there is a gif to the left that comes too far over and you use Center, then make it by using a few pixels in the first number to push it over. In this sample, they would have been partly on top of the gif because of the spacing so I used +40+0 Center and it was centered where I wanted it to be placed. You really have to play with the numbers to get it where you want it. You can use your back button if you don't like it and try again.

You can also center words using NORTH but would have to come down with pixels on the second number if it's too close to top edge.
Take a 275 x 200 white background to Image Magick. Put in the address (URL) into the box Click on VIEW On the next page, click on the COMPOSITE tab I put the address (URL) for the girl in the box GRAVITY = West. Click on the Composite button

Click on the ANNOTATE tab above and I put in the box the words each line under each other as you see it on the sample. It will be centered.

FONT SIZE = 22 COLOR = Indigo.

Under the box of fonts there is showing a box with http:// There I used this font of Captain Raider's
http://www.wtv-zone.com/captainraider/font/b/brock.ttf "Brock script"

Now click on Annotate and you have a worded card. Now let's decorate the edging. Go to the DECORATE tab at the top of the page

For Decorate Geometry put 5x5 slateblue for the color and use BORDER Click on the decorate button

Went to Decorate again to raise the edges. So I used 5x5 RAISE Decorate once more 8x8 color Pink BORDER Output -- jpg - Single File

I always optimize before I upload to save on kbs. You can do this right at Image Magick for jpgs and at Gifworks for gifs. Go down to the format after clicking on jpg and single file and click on Implicit and use Truecolor -- Under Default use LZW and I use 30 to 35 for the number under Quality.
