Use a color of your choice in the stroke box (no fill color) and stroke of one or two That's it.
Step 2. Now you can matte out each section you want to fill with a color background. Use Fuzz 7777 Floodfill and Matte. Now go to Composite -- Dstover -- Misc
For the center you can Composite a Gif using Over or if using a JPG, use Dstover only
