As the days went on I listened to all the debates and read everything I could find to read about where John McCain and Barack Obama stood on the issues facing America in these troubled times, and came to the conclusion that, while I disagree with John McCain on quite a few issues, I disagree with Barack Obama on almost ALL of the issues facing our country.

For those who may not be familiar with my previous web pages I want to make it clear that I am not a professional journalist, I am just an ordinary retired American woman who has been a seeker of truth since my teenage years, and who has been very politically minded for almost as long as I can remember. So if my writing seems rather amateurish at times it's because I am an amateur writer. And if you see a few mistakes in my punctuation throughout this article please keep that in mind. I am neither a Democrat or a Republican, I have always voted for the man, not the Party. And after researching both candidates for the past month I feel I must once again risk the wrath of many of the subscribers on my mailing list and state my reasons why I will not be voting for Barack Obama for President on Nov. 4, 2008.

These are things I guarantee you won't hear from the liberal news media. I have read hundreds of articles about these two men, about their views on how to best lead our nation in these critical times. I have studied their voting records, I have read about the people they most admired and looked up to, about who their political allies were, and about their close friends and associates. After a month of serious reading and studying everything I could find about the two men running for President it ultimately became clear there was no way I could vote for Barack Obama to be the next president of these United States of America. There are many others writing articles on their blogs and web sites telling you why they can't vote for John McCain, so if you're a dyed in the wool Obama supporter you might just as well not read any further into my website. Thank God we here in America can still do this kind of thing without fear of recrimination, how long we will be able to do this is anyone's guess.

Barack Obama's Birth Certificate?

For starters there is a matter of legitimate concern whether Obama was actually born in the United States, or if he was born in Kenya. If he wasn't born in the States then according to the United States Constituttion, he would not be qualifed to be President. The Constituion makes it very clear that only natural born citizens can become President of the United States. Obama has on his website what he says is a copy of his birth certificate, but many experts have said it is clearly a fraudlulent document and he has consistently refused to produce his original birth certificate. There are currently two lawsuits that have been filed demanding that Obama come forth with a copy of his original birth certificate proving he was born in Hawaii. One of the lawsuits has been filed in Hawaii, and one in the state of Pennsylvania going on now.There seems to be little doubt that Obama's mother wanted her son to be born in the United States, Hawaii to be precise. But according to a number of reliable sources she was so close to her due date the Kenyan Airlines wouldn't allow her to fly, that was common practice in those days. Whether or not Barack Obama was born in Hawaii or Kenya is not clear, but it is a matter that needs to be cleared up, and I cannot understand why it hasn't been. If he was born in the United States why doesn't he just produce his original birth certificate and put an end to this matter once and for all, if it were me I would, wouldn't you? I think history has shown us that when a politician is asked to show proof that he is not guilty of wrong doing, but consistently refuses to do so, it nearly always turns out that he was guilty of what he had been accused of.

Christian, muslim, atheist, or agnostic?

I realize that many of you will think this next matter is irrelevent but I don't happen to be one of them. Barack Obama says he is a Christian, but that too is a claim that may or may not be true.

His father was a muslim from Kenya, although from all I have read about him religion wasn't of much importance to him. He moved to America when Obama was two years old, leaving his wife and son behind. He only saw his son one more time after that, many years later.

Ann Dunham, later married another Muslim by the name of Lolo Soetero, and moved to Indonesia. According to all the information I was able to find about him he was more of a radical Muslim than Obama's father was, and often took young Barack with him to worship at a Muslim mosque. From grades one through five Obama attended, at different times, both a Catholic school and a Muslim school. and at both schools he was registered as a Muslim.

Depending on the article you're reading Ann Dunham, Obama's mother, was either an atheist or an agnostic, most say she was an atheist. Regardless of which is the truth she was a woman to whom religion was not something that mattered. something she didn't concern herself with. When Obama was ten years old she sent him to Hawaii to live with her parents, both of whom were self proclaimed atheists. She later divorced her husband and moved to Hawaii also. Now as for Obama's claim that he is a Christian I cannot, with any certainty, say that is not true, but what I can and will say is this:  It has long been proven how important the early years of our life are, the years known as "the formative years," ages one thru five. The prevailing school of thought is that the beliefs and values of our parents are instilled in us during these early years and remain with us through life. We may stray from those beliefs, and even disavow them, as we grow from children into adults. But in later life most of us return to our roots, to the beliefs and values that were taught to us as children. Given the fact that both Obama's father and stepfather were muslims, his mother was either an atheist or an agnostic, and his maternal grandparents, with whom he lived during his teen years, were self proclaimed atheists, I find it quite a stretch of the imagination to believe that Barack Obama became a true believing Christian, a man who believes that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of the living God. It is a part of the muslim faith that "once a muslim, always a muslim", so even if Obama did convert to Christianity muslims still think of him as "one of them".

It is especially difficult to believe this considering the facts that have recently come to light concerning the pastor of the church he joined as a young man, a man Obama has called his mentor and friend, and the one who influenced his decision to become a committed Christian.

The church is The Trinity United Church of Christ, and the pastor of the church is Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Obama went to this church for over 20 years, he was married there, and his two daughters were babtized there.

You have probably all heard by now about the hate filled sermons the Rev. Wright has preached many times from his pulpit. The Rev. Wright has said many things about White America that leaves no doubt about the hatred and bitterness that abounds in his heart for white people. Among many other racial slurs he has referred to the song GOD BLESS AMERICA as "GOD BLESS WHITE AMERICA", and he has declared from his pulpit on occasion "God Damn America."

When the story broke several months ago about Rev. Wright's fiery racial remarks, at first Obama defended his long time pastor and friend. But when it became clear that the charges against his pastor were undeniably true and was causing quite a stir among white Americans, Obama said he had never heard Rev. Wright make any racial remarks in any of his sermons. Well, I don't know about you but I find that pretty hard to swallow. If you had gone to the same church for over twenty years and were personal friends with your pastor do you really think you wouldn't have known what his true beliefs were concerning white America???? Finally, when Obama's comfortable lead began to drop in the presidential polls, he denounced Rev. Wright's racist remarks and now his former pastor has turned on Obama and as of this writing it looks as though he is determined to get even with his former friend for publicly denouncing his racial rantings and severing all ties with him and his church. Whether or not Barack Obama is a Christian may not matter to many of you reading this, but do you really believe he didn't know about his pastor's seething hatred for white people? Forgive me but again I have to say I just can't buy it.

We've all heard at some time or other in our lives the old saying that a man is known by the company he keeps. Or if you haven't heard that maybe you're familiar with another old saying--"birds of a feather flock together", I was totally shocked when I learned about the people Obama has been associated with since he began a career that would ultimately lead him to become a candidate for the highest office our country has to offer, the presidency of the United States.

When he graduated from Harvard, with honors, he moved to Chicago and became involved in community organizations working on behalf of poor people.

William Ayers

While active in this work he met and became friends with a man by the name of William Ayers, a man who was once a member of an infamous terrorist group in the sixties and early seventies .This was a radical extremist anti-white group known as Weather Underground.

They were responsible for many bombings during the seventies, among them the Capitol Building , the Pentagon, and the New York Police Department.

Most of the group were later tried and sent to prison but Ayers got off on a legal technicality and never served any prison time. He married Bernadine Dohrn, who was also a member of Weather Undergound

He later became a lawyer and worked for an organization in Chicago known as ACORN.

This organization was comprised of hard core supporters of the Democratic Party, whose primary objective was to get poor people to register to vote, and it was also instrumental in getting affordable housing projects built in poor neighborhoods.

And this is the organization that Obama went to work for before his entrance into politics. It was discovered later that this group didn't much care about the legalities of voting registration. Rather than go around knocking on doors and trying to get qualified people to register to vote it was dicovered that some of the workers just copied names out of the phone book and signed them up as new registered voters, and others went to schools and signed up underage students, some as young as fifteen years old. ACORN has become known as one of the most corrupt political groups in America. Members of this organization in twelve states so far have been arrested and charged with voter fraud. This organization also pushed banks to make home loans to people who were too poor to repay them. This is the kind of practice that is largely to blame for the current economic crisis in America.

Obama went on to become a trainer for ACORN, whose job was to teach others how to employ ACORN tactics in registration drives.

Professor William Ayers

Bill Ayers, the one time racist terrorist, who went on to become a professor at the University of Illinois, has publicly stated in interviews that he didn't regret his part in the bombings, he said he just wished they had done more. The last reported time he made this kind of statement was on Sept.11, 2001, the same day America was attacked by terrorists. the day over 3,000 people died in the attack on the Twin Towers in New York City. It was at the home of Bill Ayers that Obama announced his plans to run for the Illinois State Senate. Though these two men lived only a short distance from one another in Chicago's Hyde Park addition and attended the same social and political functions from time to time Obama now claims that Ayers was never a friend of his, only a casual acquaintance. I find this denial just a 'tad' hard to believe, what do you think? I just discovered recently the Obama presidential campaign has paid more than $800,000 to an offshoot of ACORN, Citizens Services, Inc, for "get out the vote" projects. I'll pass on making a comment about this, I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions.
