Nothing in this world or any other
Could separate us from God's love
No principalities or powers below
Nor even the angels up above
No things present, or things to come
In the whole span of time
Could ever break the precious bond
Of Eternal Love sublime
No sphere of space we travel
Could take us from His Love
Though we sink to the depths of the ocean
Or soar to great heights above
Life itself - with it's glittering charm
Holds no attraction at all
Compared with the love of God
And the sweet Holy Spirit's call
Even when death comes nigh our dwelling
Surrounding us with darkness grim
The Light of God's Love sustains us
As our eyes are focused on Him
Father, thank You that no creature exists
That can separate us from Thee
And thank You that Your Love endures
Throughout time and eternity
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
(Rom.8:38-39)
