      NEW ORLEANS PECAN PIE


      4 eggs
      1/4 teaspoon salt
      1/4 cup melted butter
      1 1/4 cup light corn syrup
      1 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
      1 teaspoon vanilla extract
      1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
      1 cup chopped pecans


      Beat eggs with wire whisk/for.
      Add salt, butter, syrup and vanilla;
      mix well. Pour into pastry shell;
      sprinkle with pecans.
      Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50
      minutes or until brown on top.
