Hi! My name is Marvaline.

I'm the hostess of this site,
and this page is alittle about me.

One of the first questions people ask me is how I got my name. Being the first born, I was named after my father whose name was Marvin. My mother said if they could do it to Paul and Pauline, she could do it to Marv and Marvaline. LOL Although I am not the only Marvaline in the world, we are few and far between.

As a child I always tried to get friends to call me Jean, but it never stuck. The closest they could get was MarbleJean, and as a teen they dropped the Jean and just called me Marbles. Thankfully, once I became a young adult people began to use my given name, and my friends call me Marv.

For the past 25 years I've lived in Florida, but recently moved back to my hometown in Nebraska. It has been a challenge since I'm not a cold and snowy type of gal, but I adore my family and the change of seasons. In that regard it has been a blessing to return. No, I don't miss the hurricanes!

My nic KrystalMeow comes from my kitty whose name was Krystal. Krystal was born under a hedge outside my Florida home along with her other brothers and sisters. It was love at first sight as we watched her grow. Once the kittens were old enough to take from Momma, I and other neighbors took each one of them into our homes.

We were together for 18 years before my precious went to rainbow bridge. She was the original inspiration behind my webpages with my first website called Krystal's Diary

I currently live with two pups and a kitty. My pup April is a cream colored toy poodle who is now 7 years old. We have a morky (maltese/yorkie mix) named Sadie. She couldn't be more adorable. My kitty Abigail is a real ticket. She's 4 years old and the largest pet in the house and does seem to rule the environment. LOL

I also have a wonderful housemate who is the one who originally taught me html, and has continued to encouraged me to create my webpages.

Before my Webtv, my hobbies were playing guitar, clarinet, and flute. I started playing instruments at the age of nine, and have dabbled with them ever since. I always considered myself a frustrated songwriter. Writing song is one of my most pleasurable experiences. I've written about 30 songs in my lifetime. Back in my younger years I even performed afew of them. Music is apart of who I am.

Lastly, and the best part of me, I'm born again christian, which explains my site titled Reflections of God's Love, and the religious nature of my work. Being a christian means everything to me. and I wouldn't trade my life now for anything.

Regardless of the fact that I am sooooo not perfect...., I can tell you that Jesus IS Lord, and we truly serve a kind and loving God. If you've never given Him a try - you really should. Those of us who know Him will tell you He's the real deal, and can be for you, too!

I have been on the web since 2000 and have created a number of different sites. These sites are all listed on my main directory page. Along the way I have picked up alot of really cool stuff that I'm sure you'll enjoy. I've also learned alittle Paint Shop Pro and have enjoyed that creative outlet. You'll also find those things at my website. If you take a notion, please stop by for a visit at www.marvaline.com
