Nothing fancy here...or heavy-metal type sounds. Just mods that are easy to listen to....and that won't shatter either your ear drums or your windows. The standard I use when choosing a mod is quite simple. My primary interest is how it sounds. Is it soft and relaxing...mood music, if you will. However, you will find some exceptions to this, but, hopefully, only a few. For openers, I use inexpensive multi-range stereo headphones.....the optimum method to listen to good music and sounds. Second, the sound must "grab me" within the first few seconds. A long or bad intro loses me...quick. A smooth or lively sound, on the other hand, gets my immediate attention. The ultimate test is whether or not the tune is worth listening to. Is it worth my time....Is it worth your time. Obviously, some are just plain fun...like "Benny Hill"..."OH, YEAH !!"... and a couple of others. The weighted-average size of these mods is 43 kb's. Some are more...some are less. When it comes to "load time", size does make a difference. Enjoy them all....but PLEASE TRANSLOAD any of these mods if you wish to use them in your sig or web pages.
