BLUE SWEATER [Enhanced Television Still #44]

I've grown up, and been raised on TeleVision. Its imagery has become part of my system. My thought patterns. My sense of Myth and Legend. The original Virtual Reality. Television imagery offers an unlimited palette of ideas, and breaking off points. Millions upon millions of constantly shifting and evolving, electric images; always available, floating through time & space. This image was captured digitally, in 1/8th of one second, and yet seems to tell of whole lifetimes. That depends, of course, on who is the viewer. Being a poet, I usually can't help but see more than just the surface image. Gesture, pose, color scheme, shape, form. The list is long, and the possibilities for further examination are practically limitless.
