TUPELO [The Child Elvis, Version 1]
Mix the graphic design with the digital effects, blend in the original artwork, based on traditional photojournalism, and polish it down to a gem. I have painted quite a few canvases of my original idol, and pioneering spirit, Elvis. This one is based on a widely seen photo from his family's collection. It's pure Americana now. It belongs to everyone, and no one. It's the share-cropper's son. It's Gladys's baby boy; the sole survivor of twins. I call it Tupelo. Thanks Elvis, for all the raw beauty, laughter, monumental talent; being wholly, totally you, and for making some of the greatest art the culture has yet seen.
"It's now or never..."
EpiGothic was my original term for what is now referred to as MODART. Should I publish this book myself, in the form you see here (compendium of artworks, specifically Portraits In Oil),
EpiGothic will be the Publisher, son!
