On October 4th, 1975 we were married by the Justice of
the Peace. On October 4th, 2000 we renewed our vows (almost sunset)
outside in the sun in Arizona.

The Ceremony begins with pictures.......in front of a
Joshua
Tree. A little known fact by people that don't live in the desert. A Joshua
Tree is VERY mean. It poked me 17 times and drew blood
twice.

After searching on the Internet we were able to find Pastor Mike to renew our vows. We hope to renew our vows
again in another 25 years with Pastor Mike.

Real Love is something beyond the warmth and glow,
the excitement and romance of being deeply in love. It is caring as much
about the welfare and happiness of your marriage partner as about your
own.

Love makes burdens lighter, because you divide them. It
makes joys more intense, because you share them. It makes you stronger, so you can reach out and become more involved with life in ways you
dared not to risk alone.

BLESSING OF RINGS: The ring is a symbol of love you
have for each other. It's unending circle represents the eternal quality of
your love and the gold represents the purity of that love.

SIGNING THE MARRIAGE COVENATE: Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice ininiquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

OUR CARDS: Inside my card from Hubby it reads: Thank you, For loving me through both the good times and the bad, For sharing my joys, my drems and my disappointments, For making me feel like the most important person in the world....Thank you for making our marriage so wonderful all these years.

 |
DINNER: After the ceremony we went to the Black Angus for Dinner. On our very first date we ate at a Black Angus. I had a gift Certificate I recieved for keeping score for the Senior Softball Team so we used that. Very wonderful dinner.

Our day as come to our clothes.....oh...er I mean a close. 25 years together. That's a long time. To us, true love is loving a person even when he leaves the toilet seat up and he drinks out of the milk cartoon. When he tracks in mud the whole weekend. Of course I'm perfect. (just teasing) Wonder where this pile of clothes will take you?
Thank you Pastor Mike and Donna for all you did for us. May God Bless |
