~Our Troops~




Heavenly Father, as I stand here on the beach, looking out at the water, I think of my husband and and all the other husbands, wives, sons, daughters, aunts and uncles thousands of miles away. They chose to be there because they believe very strongly in why they are there. We at home sometimes have a hard time understanding this. We ask You Father to please watch over them,guide,direct, and protect them from harm. Help them to cope with the horrible things they see almost on a daily basis. And also to do their jobs in the intense heat. Help us at home to understand why they answered the call. And also those that have gone for multiple tours. Wrap Your strong, protecting, loving arms around them Father. And, not my will, but Thine be done. In Your holy and blessed Name we pray.


Amen



~Illness~



Father in heaven, when someone close to us, be it family or friend, becomes ill or is hurt seriously, we feel like we have been blindsided. We feel numb on the inside and have a hard time accepting and grasping things. Father, help us to understand what has happened and what could happen in the coming days. Take away our bitterness Father and replace it with Your strength. Show us Your way Lord, and help us to feel Your strength which passes all understanding. In Your precious name we pray,

Heavenly Father, You want only Your best for us. And sometimes Your best means that we must draw from the deepest part of our inner being. This in itself is one of Your most wonderful learning experiences. You showing us Your way to build our faith and trust in You.



I ask You now Father to forgive me. You have put before me a tremendous way to build my faith and trust in You and I was too scared till now to see what You are doing. Now I do and I come boldly before Your Throne and ask You to bless me with a way to do what I believe You have put befor me. In Your holy, blessed Name we pray, Amen
