~When We Are Anxious~


Sometimes I get so anxious.. Usually when I have something on my mind or if something is bothering me. In my human way, I will take it on myself and wrestle with it to no avail.. The only thing I accomplish this way is getting more anxious..Then, when I remember to give it to God, it will all begin to work out..

Come unto Me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.......

God tells us to cast our cares and woes to Him.. He will handle whatever it is that has us upset.. Why does He do this? Because He made the ultimate sacrifice. He died on the cross to save us from our sins because He loves us that much.. And even when we are not aware of His presence, He is right beside us..

In times like these, it's so easy to get wrapped up in our problems that we forget to let go and let God.. It's hard to give it to someone we can't physically see. This is where our faith and trust comes in... We need to learn to concentrate on the positive and look for positive things in the midst of the negative...Everything happens for a reason.. If we look, we will find God and His wonderful goodness.. And He will bless us in the most beautiful and unexpected ways..........

Look to our Saviour... He will always care. And don't worry, He'll always be there. For you, He will give it His all. Because He is always on call.

Come to Me so you can rest. I'll give you the good and keep the rest. Just remember in Me you can trust. Because I am always fair and just.

I never said easy it would be.. I did say how much I love thee. He won't leave you never no never. To God be the glory forever and ever.

~Ever Near~

Where are You Lord? I need You so. Help me Lord, please don't go. Help me to see Your will. And know Your lessons to instill.

Be still my child I'm right here. Holding you close, so don't you fear. Right beside Me you will stand. We will walk, hand in hand...


~Out Of The Darkness~

A long road of recovery, but a beautiful sight. It's all made possible by my Lord above. And sent from heaven on wings of a dove.

Being in darkness is a terrible thing. Unhappy thoughts it will always bring. Never knowing which way to go. Where are You Lord?... I need You so.


Then one day I saw the light. It was small but shining so bright. At the center my Lord did stand. Saying,"Precious child, take My Hand.

"Come my child, I'll guide you through. Because I love you, Oh yes I do. Together we will stem the tide. Right here my child, stay by My Side."

The way now will be uphill. Help me Lord to do Thy will. You won't leave me, never no never. To Him be the glory, now and forever.

~Slow Me Down Lord~

It's a fast paced world we live in.. No more of everyone coming home at pretty much the same time.. The kids have soccer practice or something. Dad has his job and does overtime to keep the family going.. Mom has her job to and the house to keep up, along with laundry cooking, errands, etc.. Anymore Dad has to help Mom in the kitchen to get through with dinner..

Then, there's the kids homework to do and hope they get to bed on time and get to sleep only to get up and do it again.. And if the kids were up late, they won't want to get up on time and get to school.. It's hurry up and do this, that, and the other. And what is this doing to our insides?.. For starters, there are entirely too many strokes and heart attacks. There are also to many out there with indigestion and similiar.. And, all this plays on the nerves and makes them fray.. Even when we eat, a lot of the time, it's grab a burger at a fast food place and eat it in record time so we can get back and make that meeting.. It's no wonder we get sick.. We need to take better care of ourselves...

We sometimes think we can't slow down. We tell ourselves we might miss something if we do.. However, the fact still remains that we must. All of this wears on the heart and causes problems there.. I've noticed that since I've slowed down some that I get more done than when I rush through.. And, it's a lot easier on me when I do.. I don't have that knot in the pit of my tummy. And I enjoy everything more.. There's a lot to be said for the age old saying, take time to smell the roses.. If everyone would slow down, it would be so much better on all of us..

Father in heaven, we come before You and ask that You show us Your way. We as humans need Your loving guidance and direction.. Help us as a nation to realize we do need to slow down. Also, help us to learn to give everything to You and remember that You will take care of things.. For it's in Your blessed name we pray,..... Amen

Slow me down Lord is what I pray. So that I may see another day. Help me to know Thy divine will. And in me Thy lessons to instill.

~Obstacles~

If you take your eyes off your goals, all you see is obstacles.....

And who better to show us the way than God?.. He always knows what's best for us. Even when we don't understand, He will make it clear in His time and His way.. God has a plan for each and every one of us. We just need to give it to Him and then trust Him. Yes, it gets hard to do.. I know this only too well.. However, when I do, it turns out better than ever..

Sometimes, we get so focused on our goals, we forget to include God. We, as the humans we are, want to control our lives.. But it's better when we listen to God.. He knows the entire situation much better than we ever will.. And how wonderful and calming it is to know we are within God's Will.. He only wants the best for us..

What are your goals?.. Are you firmly fixed on God and leaving the outcome to Him?.. Or are you concentrating on the obstacles? Whatever the obstacles are, and there will be some, give them to God. Ask Him to show you His way.. Be ever mindful that He will answer in His time and way.. He may say yes; or He may say wait a while; or, He might say no.. When He says yes, things will move along.. The times He says wait a while, He might be saying it because He wants you to learn something, or pick up on something.. In any event, it will be important.. When He says no, He's doing it for a reason.. Even though you may not understand at the time, it will be for your own good.. And He will bring you through to something that is really good and bless you abundantely..

When we ask God for help, for example, patience, He will give us trials and tribulations.. Why?.. Because it's through the trials and tribulations that we learn patience. This is how we learn to cope and handle problems.. As I write this, I have one to deal with myself that was unexpected.. What am I doing?.. I continue to thank God for listening and answering and ask Him for His guidance and direction.. And yes, I have learned from the experience. This is how God uses these times to teach us what He wants us to learn.. He also wants us to learn how to take a negative and turn it into a positive. It may take a little doing, but it is possible.. In time, it will become easier to do.. Look at the hard times as a learning experience because that's what they are.. It's a wonderful thing when we can go through a hard time and say, "Thank You Father for another learning experience."

~When We Blame God~

"When we are ill or for whatever reason have hard times, it's easy to strike out at God and blame Him.. Why God, why did You let this happen?... Why am I always in pain?.. Why did my marriage terminate? Why are these things happening to me?"

God never inflicts pain or bad things on us. We are His children and He wants us to have a good life.. However, He does use them to teach us His way of living.. Our God is an awesome and loving God and wants only the best for us"......

But, how when I'm in such pain?.. God wants us to give it to Him and then leave it there.. Yes, I do know how easy that sounds and how hard it is to do..I've spent a long time getting to this point.. And I know how intensely it hurts and how long it lasts.. But I have also learned that God is my friend. And out of the hurt will come the most beautiful blessings..It's a wonderful thing when we can say,.. Thank You Father for another learning experience"...........

~Message From The Almighty~

I look down and see you in pain. It makes Me hurt to,... again and again. I'll dry your tears and help you through. So you'll see I love you.. Indeed I do.

Come,.... and sit by My Side.. Together we will turn the tide. Rest with Me and you will feel better. Then the storm we will weather.

Give your burdens and cares to Me. I will take care of them, you will see.. The way is not easy, but we will get there. Then it's brighter days, because I care.

The road ahead is long and uphill. However, you'll make it.. I know you will. I'll be right there to guide you along. With Me there, you won't go wrong.
