The Ultimate Sacrifice

The death of a loved one or friend is never an easy thing to accept or handle.. Even if it's a terminal illness, it's still difficult to cope with.. When someone is lost in a war, it's that much harder to handle because it's so tragic.. The war on terrorism is costly in the form of lives both American and Coalition......

And our troops are so young.. They all have their lives before them.. And many of them have been cut short.. This can open the door for bitterness, depression, and anger..We think, why?... Why did this happen? I don't know the answer....

It hurts so much... And it hurts more to grieve.. However, it is what we must do.. This is God's way of helping us heal and mend..There is no timetable for the process.. It takes some longer than others......

We need to remember that each and everyone of these brave and herioc men and women are there because they chose to be.. They gave up and sacrificed so much for those at home.. And they need our love, encouragement, and support.. And yes, some have made the ultimate sacrifice.. And there will be more to come..

To those that have lost loved ones, my deepest condolences to each of you.. I truly am sorry for your loss.. Be proud of your loved one.. They did what they felt they had to do.. And were there for the right reasons.. To defend this great and mighty nation.. It will take time to come to terms with your loss.. There will be good days and bad days.. In time, the good days will out weigh the bad.......

Our Father in heaven, we ask You to watch over the troops.. Those that have lost loved ones, help them to cope and come to terms with their loss.. Guide and direct them through the grieving process.. Ease the pain and help them to mend.. Give each and every one a very special blessing.. And bless all with Your peace that passes all understanding.. In Your blessed name we pray,....... Amen
