To My Precious Son



Hello my son.. I got your letter today.. It's always so good to hear from you.. I know it's been so hard on you and your buddies after that horrible helicopter crash.. Just remember, whenever you need to, look to the heavens.. There will be one star twinkling brighter than the others.. That will be Mom, smiling down on you, watching over you..Keep your faith, my son... God will see you through...



Jenny came over this morning.. She wanted to know if we had heard from you.. I told her I got your letter and would answer it today.. She said to tell you Hi and she loves you and misses you so much.. What a sweet girl she is.. She's always coming over to see if she can help with anything.. She's so thoughtful.. I think coming here helps her to feel closer to you...



The principal from your high school came over the other day.. He invited us to the school for a special get together in the gym.. It was dedicated to those lost in the crash and also to keep everyone in their thoughts and prayers.. It was a sad but good time.. Everyone is pulling together....



Your little brother and sister are right here.. Both are saying "Tell Robbie Hi! !! We sure do miss you!! Come home soon." They just love the things you sent them.. "



I must close for now my son.. It's time for me to do some things.. Your father will be home soon and I must start dinner.. Dad said to tell you he's saving that special project so you and he can finish it when you come home.. And he loves you very much.. We all love and miss you so much.. Stay safe.. And remember, watch for that twinkling star brighter than the others..... Mom




Our Father in heaven, we ask You to watch over our sons and daughters so far away from home.. See them through the trying and difficult days ahead.. Guide and direct them and bless them with Your ability to cope.. For those that have been lost, we ask You for a special blessing on their families and loved ones at home.. Help each and every one to feel Your presence and bless them with Your peace that passes all understanding.. In Your holy name we pray,..... Amen
