~My Beloved Husband~



I know I just heard from you yesterday.. It was wonderful to hear your voice again.. You sound so strong and protecting, just as you are.. Talking to Daddy has been all the kids could talk about.. I wish you could have seen their eyes light up when they knew it was you..They danced and ran through the house shouting, Daddy called!!!.. Daddy called!!!.. It brought such happy tears.. Because for those precious moments, we were together again....



It put a real fear in me when they said you were wounded.. But, I knew that you would be fine once again.. I prayed for you as I continue to do everyday.. Our faith in God is what will bring us through this.. Im so proud of you.. Standing by your convictions to help protect the homeland..



It will be lonely without you through the holidays.. However, we are together in spirit.. The neighbor said that he will put up the Christmas lights outside when the time comes.. I miss you so much..



This past Sunday, we had a special service.. It was dedicated to all of the Military everywhere.. We sang Patriotic songs and said prayers.. All our friends ask about you every time we see them.. The neighbors held a vigil outside the house when we were told you were wounded.. Everyone was such a help..



Please tell all the guys in your unit we said hello and Merry Christmas!!.. And that we pray for all of you daily.. You are always in our thoughts and prayers.. We love you dearly and we miss you.. Come home as soon as you can... Until then,...... Your loving wife...




Our Father, we ask You to watch over all those in the Military.. Wrap them in Your strong, loving, and protecting arms.. When facing adversity, help them to cope.. Shine Your light brightly Father and show them the way.. Be with them in Your most very special way and give each and every one Your very best.. And help them to feel Your peace that passes all understanding.. In Your most blessed name we pray...... Amen
