~Dear Daddy~



Mommy said she got a letter from you and is answering it today.. So I decided I would write you one to.. Thank you Daddy for the pretty doll.. When Im not playing make believe, I keep her on my bed so she doesn't get messed up.. Sometimes, when my friends and I play, we make believe that our Daddy's are coming home.. When will you be able to come home, Daddy? Billy and Tommy and I miss you very much......



Oh yeah,.. Billy and Tommy said to tell you thanks for the toys you sent.. They are always playing with them.. They play make believe to sometimes..



Daddy, sometimes Mommy is very sad.. She looks like her mind is far away.. We try to help her not feel so sad.. But then she smiles and says everything is ok.. I think she misses you very much..



Today in school our teacher told us all about Memorial Day and the real special meaning it has. Mommy said we will get Grandpa and Grandma and then watch the parade downtown...



I have to go now Daddy.. I hear Mommy in the kitchen starting dinner.. I promised I would help her.. Im trying real hard to do as you said before you left and help Mommy and be a big girl... Bye Daddy... WE LOVE YOU!!!!
