Dear Parole Board;

Please DO NOT grant a parole date to the above mentioned convicted murderer.

The heinous nature of this crime should preclude this prisoner any consideration. He murdered his own wife and child!

Michael Croote committed this crime in your beautiful state of Georgia, where feticide carries a mandatory LIFE sentence. Please see that he serves it.

Please grant Wendy's family a reprieve, and DENY parole.

On 4/13/11 the Associated Press published the following:

"ATLANTA - More than 40 percent of ex-cons commit crimes within three years of their release and wind up back behind bars, despite billions in taxpayer dollars spent on prison systems that are supposed to help rehabilitate them, according to a study released today.

The study by the Pew Center on States concluded there was only marginal improvement in the nations recidivism rate even as spending on corrections departments has increased to about $52 billion annually from around $30 billion a decade ago.

About 43 percent of prisoners let out in 2004 were sent back to prison by 2007."

What tools does Michael Croote have for living outside of prison? College graduates cannot find work, who will hire a convicted murderer?
