Side Bordered Scallops
A Help Page by Mary
This page is a transcription of the graph paper that I figured the numbers on. It has not been copied from any other work. I was influenced by Cali Kat's scallops on her table scarf.
First thing----Hit Find and type in M0,0. This will hi-light the first M0,0. Hold your shift down and use the down arrow to hi-light the numbers. Then Cmd+C to copy them.
Go to Image Magick and make a white blank 325x260.
Click Draw at the top.
Choose Path in the menu.
Paste the numbers in the box.
Color in the fill color slot.
Color in the stroke box. Stroke of 1.

Here is the end result. I added a tiny 5x5 border to it.

You can now matte out the scallops. Go to Paint Options, choose Replace, Matte, None and #5555 in the fuzz box.
Use a background of your choosing and composite the background using Dstover.
You could then matte out the centers and use the same method to composite an image. Or just composite a gif using "over" instead of "dstover". The possibilities are endless. Just have fun with it.
