One Version of Wire Frames

A Help Page by Mary

This morning, my cat was sleeping on my stack of tutes and notes, which is rather a tall stack. She moved, somehow, slid off the table along with ALL my "stuff". It took me forever to find my notes for this particular frame. I decided it was time to transcribe them so I wouldn't lose them.

Several people helped me with this technique and I won't try to name them as I'd probably leave someone out. But thanks to you all for helping me. This is NOT a tutorial and I claim absolutely no credit for this version of frames. It is merely a transcription of my notes and written for MY benefit. If it should help someone, that's all for the better.

This is the finished image.

For printer's convenience, the url is http://www.wtv-zone.com/Kitkat3l/Help_Pages_2/Teacup_Dahlia_2_keep.jpg.

Take this image to Image Magick. (The url is http://www.wtv-zone.com/Kitkat3l/Help_Pages_2/Teacup_Dahlia_1_keep.jpg.) Click on Draw at the top and choose Round Rectangle. Delete the fillcolor and use #0c8704 for stroke color and a width of 1. This will be the same throughout.

The image is 400x400. The first numbers will be
+20+20 +380+380 +380+380.
The first set of numbers means 20 pixels from the left and 20 pixels from the top. The second set of numbers is the dimensions minus the 20. 400 minus 20 is 380. The third set of numbers makes the circle which will be 20 from the edges.

Click Draw at the top again.
The second numbers will be +20+20 again---all the first sets will be +20+20 and all the second sets will be +380+380. I can't really explain the third set of numbers on this but they must go off the blank. They're +190-190. I divided 380 in half and got 190.

The next set of numbers is
+20+20 +380+380 -190+190.
Notice the plus and minus are switched.

The next set of numbers will be
+20+20 +380+380 +95-95.
I divided 190 by half and got 95. The next numbers will be
+20+20 +380+380 -95+95.
Notice the plus and minus are switched again.

The last numbers are +20+20 +380+380 +95+95. This makes the inner round rectangle.

Here are the numbers again----

+20+20 +380+380 +380+380

+20+20 +380+380 +190-190
+20+20 +380+380 -190+190

+20+20 +380+380 +95-95
+20+20 +380+380 -95+95

+20+20 +380+380 +95+95
