A Help Page by Mary
The following are numbers transcribed from my worksheet graph papers. This is written for my benefit but in hopes that others will make use of them, too. I certainly recommend putting these numbers on graph paper so that you can see what they do and how the box is drawn.
The idea is not original---I was inspired by BeeDiana's tute.
Go to Image Magick and make a white blank 300x300.
Click on Draw.
Choose Path in the drop-down menu.
Use these numbers----
M10,180 L150,140 150,10 10,40 M150,140 L220,220 220,80 150,10
Delete the fill color, put black for stroke color and width of 2.
Click Draw.
This is the backside of the box.
Click Draw again at the top.
For the Front of the box, use these numbers----
M80,120 L10,40 10,180 80,270 220,220 220,80 80,120 80,270

Now, for the lid.
Go to Image Magic and make a white 300x300 blank.
Click Draw at the top and choose Path from the menu.
Put these numbers in the slot---
M25,190 L95,40 250,90 190,245 25,190 M95,40 L130,30 275,75 220,225 190,245 M250,90 L275,75

Here is a sample of what can be done with the box and lid.
The possibilities are endless. Matte out the portions that you want to use a fill and use Dstover and check the box for Miscellaneous Options.
I'm very new to this art of using Path for drawing and am still learning. It's fascinating, to say the least. :-))
