I thank you for the use of your tutorials.

We will make and upload three images. One will be blurred, one will be the blur color but not blurred, and one will be a transparent overlay. You may use other dingbats if you wish.

Here is a charset. It uses caps A thru P. For printers' convenience, the url is http://www.wtv-zone.com/Kitkat3l/Help_Pages_2/WitchyPoo_charset.jpg.

First Image.
Make a 400x400 black blank.
Click annotate at the top.
Put L in the text area.
+0+0 and Center
Fill Color and Stroke Color - hotpink (or your choice)
Stroke Width - 10
Point Size - 200
Font - http://www.wtv-zone.com/Kitkat3l/Help_Pages_2/WitchyPoo.ttf

Click Effects at the top. Put 7.0x7.0 in the slot and choose "spread". Click effect.
Click Effects again at the top, 7.0x7.0 in the slot and choose "blur". Click effect.
Output as a gif and single file and upload. Label it as 1.gif or blurred.gif.

Second Image.
Make a 400x400 black blank.
Annotate the same as the first image only make the stroke width 1 or leave it out.
Output as a gif and single file and upload. Label it as 2.gif or unblurred.gif.

Third Image.
Make a 400x400 transparent blank.
Annotate the same.
Use black for the fill color and no stroke color. Click annotate.
If any painting is desired, this is where you can do that. Output as a gif and upload. Label it as 3.gif or transparent.gif. (Screen will show as black but the image is there.)

Take the blurred image (1.gif) to Image Magick. Output as a gif and click "clipboard". Click output.

Click Input at the top.
Put the unblurred image (2.gif) in the URL: slot. You should just have to change the number 1 to 2. Click View.
Click F/X at the top.
Put 5 in the slot and select "morph". Scroll down and check the box at the bottom for clipboard image. Click effect.

Click composite at the top.
Composite 3.gif (transparent blank) and use +0+0 Center - Over.

Output as a gif and multi-frame. Use 20 in the delay. Be sure there's a 0 in the loop slot.

Take to Gifworks and smart-crop.
Optimize by choosing "Reduce Colors". I reduced mine to 65% which was 29 kbs.

Here's my glowing witch---
