A SMILE TO DIE FOR!!
There was a fair amount of discussion about Scott's work on GL especially with Kim Zimmer.
This interiew seemed to be right after Reva discovered he wasn't her son.
He said she cracks him up off camera and then can instantly be back in the big dramatic scene.
He comes from Illinois. But he has lived a lot of places, for example, Germany, California,
New Mexico and even on an Indian reservation (which was never explained)
He loves New York. even though he has had several close calls. One time he was hit by a cab,
and another by a truck, which totaled his bike, and ran over his legs.
He was funny recounting how he saw the emblem on the truck as he rolled over it.
He was studying to be a mechanical engineer, going for his PHD, and was an intern in Washington,
when he went to see a Shakespeare in the Park production of Henry V.
He was so inspired he couldn't sleep that night, and started acting classes after that.
He said he looked up on that stage and thought: that's what I want to do.
He told Lisa Rinna, the cohost, that it was her husband, Harry Hammel, who had so inspired him.
He had brought along a book of inspirational quotes to give to him.
She called her husband out from backstage, who said it was very touching to know
that he had inspired a young actor. He was very impressed with Scott.
This was Scott's first talk show interview.
He was engaging, animated and interesting. Not to mention gorgeous!!
