On March 3, 2006, Ricky Paull Goldin was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune. Host Pat Sajak introduced 3 Soap Stars, remarking they were the young hotties of Daytime. I wondered why Ricky seemed to be dressed like an auto mechanic.



They were Galen Gering of Passions, Rebecca Herbst of General Hospital, and Ricky.



Ricky was playing the game with a 26-year viewer of Guiding Light. Ricky's winnings would go to the Suicide Prevention Center of Los Angeles. Ricky would do all the wheel spinning.





They solved a large puzzle: Hickory Smoked Country Ham Platter.



They also solved a puzzle with a trip to London attached: Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles.



They won $26,050 all together. Gering won $12,000 and Herbst won $9,681 for their charities.



Ricky and his partner missed the winner's game at the end, which was for a Land Rover. The puzzle was: I Misjudged You. But they did very well, and it was an enjoyable half hour.
