The Emmy's are over,
The trophies are out.
My fav's didn't win
And I just want to shout,


"How could you not pick them?
There's been a mistake!
Our show has the best characters
A writer can make...


Our show has the best actors...
I've watched them for years:
The loving, the breakups,
The joys and the tears.


You don't know what you're missing
If you don't watch the show..."
Oops! Showtime's approaching
And I've got to go!


They may not be winners
In the Emmy's great book,
But they're winners to me,
And they have me hooked!
