This 2004 interview took place shortly after Lesli began her new role on General Hospital. They discussed with her the difficulties of taking over a role from another actress. She has to speak in a regional accent. But she said she has that down now. She brought her son, Jackson with her who is one really charming little boy.



Lesli is known as a down-to-earth, fun person.
She was no different here.

Jackson discovered himself on the studio tv monitors.


There is obviously a wonderful relationship there. In Los Angeles, the two of them enjoy going out to the dog park. These are area parks where it is alright to let your dog off leash.


Lesli's hubby, and Jackson's dad, is Keith Coulouris, who used to play Reid Hamilton on ATWT. Lesli was playing Molly at the time. The next photo is from their wedding. They were married in Barbados and it was very hot and muggy. Then the rain came down and soaked them. They watched the sunset then and it was very romantic.


In the photo coming up they are seen enjoying that moment. They almost didn't get there because they forgot to get Jackson a passport and had to get hold of his birth certificate to use instead.


Lesli demonstrated Pilates to hosts Lisa Rinna and Ty Treadway. Lisa had a lot of trouble keeping up.


Now for the bad news. Just months later, GH has dropped Lesli to recurring status. She had been promised good story, and wanted very much to be working in LA where Keith now works behind the scenes. Those promises, and even her contract, were broken, and now she has approached ATWT about returning (SOD 3/15/05) That isn't so easy to do, of course, even though in this interview she praised ATWT and Executive Producer Chris Goutman for their help and understanding when she left. SID reports (3/22/05) that two East Coast soaps are interested in signing her. Hopefully, she will get either ATWT or another one. But Keith will still be in LA. It's a tough business!! DQ wishes them the best.
